Zach grew up on the fair circuit, traveling the country with his parents’ petting zoo and later working the kids’ tractor pull scene. He was born into the rhythm of the road and the hum of fairground lights. Shannon, on the other hand, came from the world of corporate sales — sharp, strategic, and unafraid of a challenge. When the two met, their worlds couldn’t have been more different. But together, they saw an opportunity: a small traveling pig race show with heart, potential, and a whole lot of charm.

They married in February of 1998 and hit the ground running, making their debut in March at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Zach took to the mic with his signature energy and ideas, while Shannon transformed the operation behind the scenes — managing bookings, handling contracts, and keeping the show running smoothly from one stop to the next.

Together, they turned a modest operation into the full-time, family-run crowd favorite it is today — bringing a little joy (and a few Oreos) to fairgrounds all over the country.

For them, it’s about more than pigs in little racing silks. It’s about tradition. It’s about kids wide-eyed with wonder. It’s about hometowns and hot summers and the kind of wholesome fun that sticks with you long after the fairgrounds are empty.
